Bass Pro Shops Islamorada
The Islamorada Fish Company (Bass Pro Shops) marina, dining dock, and commercial fishing dock sustained significant damage during severe Florida weather events. Edgewater Group was retained as the structural engineering consultant to evaluate the condition of the facilities and provide recommendations for repair or replacement.
The assessment included a comprehensive inspection of the marine infrastructure conducted by Edgewater’s CEO, Ron Schults. During the site visit, all major components were evaluated, including dock structures, pilings, retaining walls, and utility systems. An underwater inspection was also performed to assess submerged conditions and identify structural deficiencies not visible above the waterline.
A detailed report was subsequently prepared to document the condition of the facilities, identify areas of concern, and support the development of a comprehensive recovery plan.
