Brooklyn Bridge Marina
Brooklyn Bridge Marina is one of New York Harbor’s premier waterfront destinations, offering high-quality seasonal docking alongside an inclusive community boating program that expands access to the water for people of all ages, abilities, and income levels.
Located within the award-winning Brooklyn Bridge Park, the marina sits at the heart of Brooklyn’s revitalized waterfront. The facility features 125 slips accommodating vessels from 40 to 100 feet, as well as broadside mooring for megayachts up to 250 feet. A state-of-the-art floating dock system, protected by a floating wave attenuator, creates one of the calmest and most secure marina basins in New York Harbor.
The marina experience is further enhanced by the Sail Club and Harbor Club, which provide premier amenities for members and guests. A strong commitment to sustainability guided the design, incorporating innovative elements such as specially textured concrete panels to promote marine habitat and floating wetlands that support ecological resilience. These features position the marina as a model for environmentally responsible waterfront development and one of the greenest marinas in the region.
Edgewater provided comprehensive design and construction administration services for the project, including wave analysis, breakwater design, dock and anchorage systems, access gangways, fire protection, site lighting and landscaping, and the design of a community building and restroom facilities.
